Role Overview
As a Visualization Artist at /slantis, you will be playing a vital support role in the development of high-quality architectural visualization projects, helping to translate architectural concepts into compelling imagery. This role is designed for a highly motivated learner who wants to build their technical skills, understand the "big picture" of professional visualization pipelines, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support: Assist the visualization team with 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and scene assembly to meet established project milestones.
Task Management: Organize and track your assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and proactive communication about your progress.
Feedback Implementation: Accurately receive, interpret, and apply internal and client markups, with guidance of other team members.
Problem Solving: Develop your ability to spot potential issues in 3D geometry or rendering pipelines and troubleshoot them collaboratively.
Continuous Learning: Actively seek feedback, ask questions, and continuously improve your workflows and artistic eye.
Competencies & Skills
Education: Degree in Architecture or a closely related design field.
Language: Advanced or Native English proficiency is strictly required.
Technical Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of 3D production software (3ds Max + V-Ray strongly preferred).
Core Abilities: Foundational skills in 3D modeling, applying materials, and setting up basic lighting.
Post-Production: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for basic color correction, adjusting renders, and adding 2D elements.
Visual Expertise: A strong foundational sense of image composition, spatial awareness, and lighting.
Architectural Literacy: Good understanding of architectural concepts and the ability to read and interpret basic architectural drawings and plans.
Bonus Skills: Any knowledge of Revit, Unreal Engine, or After Effects is a great plus, but not essential.
